I became an MFR therapist to help you feel significantly better!

Hi, I’m Kelly!

I’m an expert-level, trained Myofascial Release (MFR) therapist here to help you find lasting relief and mobility from chronic pain and health issues.

I found CrossFit in my late 30s and fell in love with heavy lifting! I had never been an athlete before so this was a big change for me.  However, I would avoid running or high-impact activities during CrossFit (like box jumps and jump rope) because of pelvic floor issues (thanks, kids!) and bad shin splints.

After receiving MFR over the course of 2.5 years, I no longer have pelvic floor issues and have recently started running again - without ANY shin pain! I know the power of receiving frequent treatment with Myofascial Release and want these same results for YOU!

“I feel like I'm in my 20s again!”

Amazing! Started out 13ish sessions ago like a 90 yr old woman barely able to walk, I’m 42. Within 3 sessions I was able to walk up & down stairs. By 5 sessions I was running stairs & now I feel like I’m in my 20’s again! I feel amazing! Not only did MFR transform my life physically, but also in every other way. I am able to be aware of my feelings & space, I am now fully present in my body, I have self love for the 1st time & I am a better human, wife & mother. Thank you Kelly🙏 I know I will continue with this work!

7 Fun Facts About Me

1. I spent 15 years working in IT before deciding what I wanted to be when I grew up.

2. Knitting is my hobby and I find it quite meditative. Chances are if you see me wearing a knit sweater, cardigan, or socks - I likely made it!

3. I’m a cat person. I love other people’s dogs but cats have always had a special place in my heart. We currently have 3. My husband thinks 3 is enough but I would love more!

4. Because of my childhood experiences helping to care for my Type 1 diabetic father, I’ve always been drawn to healing professions. Becoming a massage therapist felt like ‘coming home’ to me - what I was born to do!

5. I’m passionate about education! You should never stop learning. John Barnes reminds us in seminars (there are a lot of ‘John-isms’) to strive for excellence, not perfection.

6. I adore music! Fleetwood Mac, Kings of Leon, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, U2, Depeche Mode, Gary Clark, Jr., The Heavy… there’s SO MUCH good music.

7. I enjoy the Chief Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny. Her character, Ruth Zardo, is a poet who writes a book of poetry titled “I’m FINE”. FINE stands for “Fucked up, Insecure, Neurotic, Egotistical” - I can relate. I’m often FINE, thanks for asking.

Myofascial Release has transformed my life - it infuses everything I do! I was only 20 when my dad died from complications from his Type 1 diabetes. Emotions weren’t something we really dealt with in our family, so the loss of a parent really hit me. I didn’t have the tools to deal with the grief, anger, guilt that I felt. Those emotions were pushed down inside myself and held in my body for over 20 years! Through the power of Myofascial Release, I was able to release those emotions, allowing myself to feel a deeper sense of calm and peace. I feel at home in myself.
